Were you so easy on your children when they were little that you had to resort to tough love when they grew older? Did you move halfway across the globe to be far away from your mother—and then feel guilty about it? Have you ever resorted to petty lawbreaking?

According to author Carlette Anderson, some form of dysfunctional behavior is normally part of most people’s lives. Anderson’s "Dysfunctional Is Normal" is based on her own experiences in recognizing and seeking to change dysfunctional elements in her life—and to thus become abnormal. Drawing on her personal diaries, childhood memories, and correspondence with friends, she describes in simple language scenarios that we will recognize immediately. Her frankness and sincerity spill out on every page.

There is a bit of dysfunction in all of us and Anderson’s book gives a whole new meaning to the word “normal.”

Welcome… and glad you could make it.

When I first started writing a journal I had no idea it was going to turn it into a book. I was motivated to write about these topics for my children’s sake and for the sake of future generations. It was my personal quest to try and make some sense out of the estranged or should I say strange relationship I have with my family members. I knew too much and felt compelled to share what I have learned. I just could not sit back any longer and say nothing.

I created this site so you could have another place where you can
purchase my book, "Dysfunctional is Normal."  You see, when you place your order through gotbooks.us a larger percentage of your money will go to the charity of your choice. What better way to help others than to promote reading and giving at the same time?

When we all contribute a little bit a great deal can be accomplished.

Thanks for visiting and for your support...
